Church Treasurer Opening - After careful consideration, Cathy Stern, our church treasurer for the past 16 years has decided to step away from this position.  We are ever so grateful to Cathy for all of her years of dedicated service to Peace Church and wish her well in everything that the future holds for her and her family.

We therefore are posting the availability of this position with the hope of having our next Treasurer selected within the next two months.. This position is a paid, part-time position - roughly 15-20 hours per month, depending on the time of year.  Some (but not all) of the Treasurer position requirements/duties are as follows:

• Accounting

• QuickBooks

• Excel - used a lot

• Payroll

• Submitting payroll taxes

• Required documents for vendors, W9 and/or COI's

• Processing W2's and 1099's at year end

• Checks for all of the church bills and expenses

• Running reports for monthly Council meetings & Council meeting participation

• Misc. reports as needed by various church committees
